She holds her head high,
And walks with the grace
Of a heart of steel.
She’s the kind of girl
Who would do your homework,
A push over.
She’s a leaning post,
A skyscraper,
A sturdy brick.
Sunlight that is trapped
Behind her star flecked eyes.
Who would notice
The cracks in her polished surface?
She is flying high,
Yet no one would expect her to fall.
I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream,
Suspended clear in the sky are the words that we sing in our dreams,
Let there be love.

I really liked it. For a second it had me wondering what you were getting at until I got to the end.

Nice Senario, i have a poem that I co-writ with a friend kind of about the same thing.

This was an awesome write.

Very nice poem. I love the ending. I love the simplistic style and how short it is. I love short reads. :D Good work.

I liked most of it, a few lines, I thought, weren't as good, but still very nice.
