Specifically if you leave the tab and come back
A serrodyne is a signal-processing technique used to shift the frequency of an electromagnetic wave by applying a continuous, linear phase ramp.

@Omni ->> The contest pages should be fully loading now!

@serrodyne ->> Did some investigation into that, and it turns out it's actually a known bug in Safari. What's going on is that in order to preserve memory, your phone is unloading web pages in the background. However, there are a couple workarounds, and I'm trying out one of them. So hopefully, it should happen less often now.

Yay! Going to explore more then.

Reposting this in case you missed this bug:
Omni wrote:The "New Posts" sidebar is not updating for posts posted today. For instance, New Posts show the latest post in the forum is: post/1724090#p1724090 but there are two newer posts in that thread alone (1 and 2)

New posts also show a Writers Corner thread as the second newest but there's a newer post from that forum.

It's also not showing new posts from the Roleplay forums area. Showing this post as the newest but not my latest post which was written after.

I've been seeing repeated cake day reminders for the same two users in the people's tab, for what's been, most definitely, longer than one day now.

I've been getting Cake Day announcements on my feed multiple times a day for the same users (shown in screenshot) for 3-4 days now. It's always Dr.MBall and The Rebel2007! Using Safari on MacOS!

Edit: Opps, looks like Alex has the same problem as me!

Whenever I put an ampersand in a title (both poem and folder) or description (poem and folder), it turns it into "&" and it doesn't seem like there is a way to revert it back to just the & symbol, can this be fixed perhaps?

@AlexWrites & @LadySpark ->> That should hopefully be fixed now!

@cherie ->> Updated the way ampersands get decoded. You might need to edit the description / title one more time, but it should be working going forward.

Yup, the cake day problem seems resolved now!

Now, I think this is an old one and, not many people use it now, but I'd appreciate your help with it. When we embedd media in the forums, the dimensions of the video come out from the box of the post. Could you fix it so that the window resizes itself to not protrude out?

Edit: the mobile version might take even more work, it's barely on the screen at all..

Looks perfecto, thanks Nate!

The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading.
