Since Orlando wasn't telling the entire story- naturally my mind made up the rest of the story. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to know how accurate I was. "Well, my brain just ran away. Try not to ask me important questions until it comes back."
We are who we are, and if someone has a problem with that; that's their problem not ours.

"What?" Now she's just confused.
"All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

"Don't worry, half the people I actually spend the time to talk to agree with you." I responded.

"It wasn't so much what you said, they just agree with your general confusion- or maybe that's not the right word. Ehh, whatever."

"Oh, I see." The young woman still seems a bit befuddled but doesn't pursue the topic. "So, where to next?"

Deep roots are not reached by the frost."

I pouted- not actually sure whether I was disappointed or not.

"Yes," ORLANDO sighs. "She forced me to eat my own sister too."

"Not fun. Well- I would imagine so, I've never had a sister. Or eaten anyone."

Jay looks down, blue eyes acute. "I see it. It's a big...tiger thing."

"It's a fire tiger!" ORLANDO shouts sarcastically.

For in everything it is no easy task to find the middle ... anyone can get angry—that is easy—or give or spend money; but to do this to the right person, to the right extent, at the right time, with the right motive, and in the right way, that is not for everyone, nor is it easy; wherefore goodness is both rare and laudable and noble.
