Not my dad.
We are who we are, and if someone has a problem with that; that's their problem not ours.

Q
Fey he seemed, or the battle-fury of his fathers ran like new fire in his veins, and he was borne up on Snowmane like a god of old, even as Oromë the Great in the battle of the Valar when the world was young. - The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King

Did you mean Star Trek Q or just a random letter?

Ikr?

But she'll probably refuse sheerly out of loyalty to SW, though I would say both are equally good in different ways.

I like them both, but if someone is seeking a nerd war I will give them what they want. That is not a good thing.

*Sighs* all my friends prefer Star Wars... And a friend of a friend just kind of likes arguing with me about that sort of thing even though I'm trying not to be so mean anymore. I told him that I had a burn, but was sparing him, and then he basically challenged me. That was not a good idea.

Gawd. I don't know whose fault it is that we always get into burn battles. It's probably because of my crazy. I go into every day wanting to be nice, and then every time I run into someone who seems to challenge my intelligence, my loyalties, or my uniqueness, I can't back down. Even if it's a friendly challenge, I have a tendency to just wreck it. People who challenge me put too much faith in my the filter that really needs to be reinstalled in my head.

I'm probably only posting this because I'm tired, and don't know whether to feel sorry or ticked.

At least we're equally matched. For that I respect his wits. And his guts.

Thanks Lizz. I just honestly don't know how to feel about the situation.

In short, Mrs. Pontellier was beginning to realize her position in the universe as a human being, and to recognize her relations as an individual to the world within and about her.
