Is there a way to publish a new chapter from the edits page on a work? I might be dumb but there isn't an obvious button to hit that says "new chapter" , which is usually what I look for. I wanted to go ahead and post the other two chapters I had written, but if it's a points/time-locked thing, I'll wait. ^^ (looked in the faq and searched it up, but couldn't find any answers, i apologize if i missed something obvious with the answer!)

You have to use the publishing center every time you want to upload a new chapter! Then when you go through the steps, you’ll see an option to add this chapter to a pre-existing series of yours so that your chapters are continuous. You should also title your work “Name of Series - Chapter #” so that readers will know it’s a new chapter to your story! And yes, each chapter is considered a new work, so it requires 200 points to publish. :)

Please let me know if that doesn’t make sense, I’m happy to provide you with visual examples if you’re like me and a visual learner! @ionoreo

I am a visual learner, haha. if you could provide a visual example I'd really appreciate that!! Thank you for the help! On other sites I've used, the editor is very different, so it was tripping me up here.

I get its supposed to be 250 characters at least, but ive posted a review in the green room but its marked as a comment? I checked it haad 503 characters or similar and 4 sentences. It frustrates me a lot because I want to be able to interact and gain points, but if I have to spend so long thinking of what to write as a review just for it to be tagged as a comment despite it fitting all the checkmarks to be a review it kinda defeats the entire purpose of the review.

I'm also incredibly new to this platform, so it could genuinely be user error, but I still have absolutely no clue what is wrong with what i post.

Hi there! @ShokoAkaMatsube to submit something as a review you must go the bottom of the text box to the line that says "Is this a review that you wrote yourself without any help or with the assistance of other tools?" and click the grey box that says "No" so that it becomes "Yes" and then when you submit it, it will be marked as a review.

@ShokoAkaMatsube what canopy said! We can also totally mark a comment as a review retroactively if needed. Grab the link to the work you left a comment on and send a PM (private message) to someone with a green username, and we'll be happy to look into it for you and get you the points you should have earned.

May I ask how to customize your profile's background? I have tried repeatedly and have failed each time.

@Rosemary7 ->> You can do so by going here:
ucp.php?i=profile&mode=style

It's quite possible that you're doing everything correct, but it's failing to update. So if it's still not working, let me know what customization you're trying to do (e.g., change the color, upload an image, etc).

@Nate ,
I am trying to put a link into the box which will be my background. Unfortunately, it says the link is not for an image.
