Buddy UP!
This NaPo don't go it alone, take some friends with you. This year we're creating a buddy system event to help read, encourage, and develop new bonds in our poetry community. Buddy UP will be a pair system for first time and previously entered NaPoWriMo participants to help encourage one another to achieve the goal of 30 poems in 30 days.
Pairs will be provided tasks they can complete with their buddy during the month to engage and encourage one another. These tasks are not mandatory for Buddy UP, all that we ask is that you have fun with your buddy and help encourage them to complete their goals.
Some things you can do with a buddy include reading their thread, commenting on their poetry, providing them with prompts, challenges, and resources to keep them busting through the 30 poem goal.
Pairs will be announced by April 2nd.
If you want to be a surrogate buddy for participants who sign up after the pairing has been made, please say so when you sign up.
