Day 15

Balancing on a silver lining
I can only hold on for so long
When I fall, will I fly
Will I crash to the ground
Will you be there to catch me?
Will I see the stars like never before
Will I thread moonlight through my wings,
Or fall like the kings of yesterday?
Will I burn, will I cry
Will I light up the night
Can I be everything you want from me?
I guess it's time to take that step,
Go over the edge
See you on the other side.

Day 16

I swallowed another galaxy tonight-
Cramming stars down my throat,
Gulping planets as though gasping for air-
But the black hole in my gut was not appeased.
