@Lumi it doesn't matter if you've seen the movies or not, the storyline in both of them was a group of people trying to survive the night, getting caught up in some troubles, and fighting for their lives. So the idea of The Purge is the fan-fic part, the rest you can, as you put it, go gun-ho ^^
