I need help. My topic is running and running form. Any ideas how science ties into that.

It's all physics and engineering!

The body is like a machine and it works best when it's efficient, when it comes to running that boils down to having a good running form. If one doesn't have the right posture, or stride, or strike, then the machine isn't functioning at its most effectiveness and that leaves you open to injury.

If you have a really bouncy stride, for example, bobbing up and down a lot and with a really straight back you end up with more pressure and weight on your joints and bones, and this increase in pressure can lead to injured knees or shin splints -- microfractures in your shin bone that can lead to a break if you don't let them heal.
please grant me my small wish; (love me to the marrow of my bones)

There’s always a story. It’s all stories, really. The sun coming up every day is a story. Everything’s got a story in it. Change the story, change the world.
