Erm... I'm not really concentrating on this. I'll write the ending, an if we start a sequel, but Cai is already here, so you see, I'm very, very, stuck.
Let the blood pour down in rivers as the world burns.
Like I've already said, I shall post this weekend. I had to write two essays for school this week, and I have two tasks that I have to complete, but my post WILL be up either tomorrow or on Sunday.

There will be a sequel, I assure you, but I doubt TTYF will be the one creating it. When it comes down to that, I shall offer to do so in his stead.
But the Fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. — Paul the Apostle
Winter is inevitable. Spring will return eventually, and AstralHunter with it.
Of course. Nike did so with Harmony High. You see, if the participants want a sequel, but the original author isn't there anymore, they are allowed to create the sequel. (Whether they have to ask a storybook Mod first, that I don't know.)
However, it will have to wait until November or December of this year, since neither Wanderer nor I will be able to actively post until then. (If we can, I shall request to create the sequel sooner.)

@TakeThatYouFiend, I would like to talk to you. One, even if this is your SB, you can't simply disappear for two months, and then expect us to welcome you back with open arms. Don't understand this wrong, but if you've read our planning and discussions in the DT, you'd know exactly what we're planning, and that the Battle hasn't even begun yet. Thus, none of the characters would know of the giants who are on their way or that a dragon'd be there.(ref. to your post). Secondly, @QueenAnne is complaining that she is in a difficult to write position, thus the plot won't progress as fast as she would like. Yet what do you do the moment you return? You place our party, the main plot progressing party at this moment, in a difficult writing position. (btw, a dwarven ruin would never have a dead end so close to a side entrance, just saying...) Thirdly, Anette had already returned at the end of her post, so why would she suddenly still be out scouting. Furthermore, you're insulting your own character, whom I had made out for a moderately intelligent being by saying that he can't even remember the name Gzomriflt if it gets mentioned continuously, not to mention that you called magic "mumbo-jumbo". And lastly, Dominic might not always show it, but he has grown fond of all his party members, and would never treat them badly or look at them condescendingly.
I shan't change my post I completed on Saturday (but couldn't post), as it goes according to the storyline we planned while you were away.

@TheWanderingWizard I'm sorry, I didn't realise so much planning had been put into what was to come. I misread Annette's last post (sorry, I was reading rather a lot to try and find out what happened,) which explains why I didn't realise she was back. Also, I did not know of the dragon, and my mentioning one was purely coincidence. Kevin was simply saying "What next?" rather than predicting. However I wouldn't describe the end of my post as a difficult writing situation. I imagined a dead end could quite easily be a secret door, portal, puzzle, or something similar. And you say that you have make Kevin out to be intelligent, however since the start of the SB Kevin has been, although intelligent in the role of doctor/barber surgeon, slightly ludicrous. I wouldn't imagine him being able to pronounce Gzomriflt, or particularly care about anything over preserving his hide. As I say, I apologise for a poorly written post, and obviously have deleted it. However, since I have returned to YWS, (which, I add was an absence from the site, and not,k as someone suggested merely from High Fantasy: If anyone supposes they saw me on I imagine it was because my 'phone is set to log on automatically,) I would happily write an amended post, if someone with greater knowledge of the planning would give me a plot frame to work on. I'd imagine this would be after WW' post.
You know that studded leather armour in films? Nobody wore that. I mean, how would metal studs improve leather armour?
It's ok, @TakeThatYouFiend, and I apologize for my "tiny" outburst. I usually just don't like it when someone disappears without any notice, and then returns several months later, not knowing everything that has happened in the meanwhile. I hope we aren't on a wrong footing anymore (heaven knows that I don't want to be in a cold companionship with a fellow SBer)
Also, your "dead-end" idea, had me thinking. What if the reason why the Orcs, Goblins or whatever they are never found the Quill was because of what they believed to be an dead-end in fact being a mage puzzle-protected secret passageway guarding the chamber (even though the Goblin Warlock {one of the Six} found a way inside.
I once again apologize, and will try and have my post up asap.

@TheWanderingWizard that's fine, my disappearance was rather hypocritical, I generally really dislike disappearances like my own too. As for the dead end thing, certainly, but it would have to be a pretty good puzzle: not just something for Dominic to fix with a wave of a wand (instantly thinks of Gandalf) or a really simple puzzle. Perhaps something like an intense logic puzzle.... there's something you don't see every day

My post shall be up momentarily, I just want to give the background on the Jonipel race. The Jonipel are a small, chameleon-like race which is known as the servant race, much like the house elves from Harry Potter. What makes them different, is that they are smaller for one (average length is up to your kneecaps, thus half the length of an Ollemcrat), and the fact that they are bound to a household. Jonipels are natural found in the wilds of High Fantasy, and normally lead a solitary lifestyle. Thus, to make one of them serve you, you have to catch one. You can't use any net or rope, as they'll simply evaporate out of the binds and get away. You'll need to use a net (preferably chain links) inlaid with small links of gold, which would stop them from escaping. You can also physically catch them, but that is an extremely rare occurrence. They are called chameleons, because as soon as they serve someone, they'll start evolving to have certain of their master's physical features. Ulir, because he was caught by both Warchief Furlog and Caioliss, he will have fae, orcish and lizard-like feature, which is kind of disturbing if you think about it. I hope you enjoy my post!
