Return to A Ruse To Fool Them All (Not Started/Full!)

Creator: PiesAreSquared
Roleplay: A Ruse To Fool Them All (Not Started/Full!)
Nickname: Ry

Name: Captain Ryandrol (If introduced, first name is Captain)

Gender: Male

Age: 47

Appearance: Shallow beard stretching from ear to ear. about half a hand's breadth. Missing right ear. Copperish skin. Pate has a dyed-bright red streak running through from right forehead across to the rear. Hair falls to shoulder length and is greying around the edges. Large built, thickly muscled, but with a small measure of flabs. Wears leather doublet with a washed out herald. Breeches of the same material. Boots also of the same material, but steel-capped.
Wears a light coat of mail. Has an enchanted sword, called Fate, which protects the wearer from all spells. Has a scar running through his right eye from a dominance fight long ago.

Personality: Snarky to a fault. Cannot give an appearance of courtesy without an ulterior motive, such as sarcasm, plain mockery, or other such mischief. Has a loose grip on reality due to prolonged use of Fate. Has multiple personality disorder. Will speak to himself at any time, in his mind or aloud. Tendency to go for long periods without speech, communicating by signals and snarls, giving rise to the nickname “The Mute.” Has a sharp wit, but slow execution of his ideas and plans. Has no aim in life other than to lead his band into greater riches, which he adores. At every third step, he kicks the heel of the front foot with the toes of his behind foot. This does not lead to trip-ups.
History: Grew up in a seaside inn. Father was an innkeeper. Spent youth stealing from neighbours and traders who passed the town, whose name is unknown to him. Left town on his eleventh birthday to join a gang of robbers, with whom he has stayed ever since, travelling vast distances to drop pursuit or in search of, in his term, greener pastures.
Since killing the former leader, he has led a life of greater and greater risks, stowing away what valuables he plunders alone in a hidden place known only to him. He began negotiations with the Verlisian Queen to commit targeted robberies for a full pardon and a Lordship.
Up for love: All the time

Other: Loves to eat mutton. Will eat mutton and more mutton.

The true adventurer goes forth aimless and uncalculating to meet and greet unknown fate.
— O. Henry (William Sydney Porter)
