Name: Erin Harper
Grimm or Monster: Monster, shapeshifter. Also, thief, but that's more of an occupation. They're from the story "The Master Thief."

Gender: Intergender (they, their, them)
Appearance: They're fairly pale, with thin lips and grey eyes. Dark, spiky hair, partly dyed blue. Their height is about average, but they're a bit skinny. They usually dress casually, with ragged jeans and a tee-shirt. When thieving, they dress in all black skin tight clothes and a balaclava. When in the company of monsters, they'll wear something of a combination of this with a dark shirt and jeans, no balaclava, and perhaps a long coat. In monster form, they can look like almost any animal. However, when they're in human form, Erin will have gold eyes that are almost luminous. Their incisors will elongate, giving them a deceptively vampiric look, and several dark blue feathers will be mixed into their hair.
Personality: Erin is stubbornly self-sufficient (as well as just plain stubborn). They will rarely, if ever, accept help from others. They're also defiant and disrespectful to any authority. Erin is scornful, sarcastic, and teases incessantly. They're slow to trust, but once they make a friend, they are fiercely loyal. Any betrayal of this trust results in a lifelong hatred.

Backstory: As is traditional in their family, Erin was taught both how to shapeshift and how to steal. Conveniently, these two abilities go hand-in-hand (turn into a bird, fly into fifth story open window, snatch money, leave). Both of these skills (is shapeshifting a skill?) were taught to an ancestor of Erin's back in the time of the original Grimms by a master thief and have been passed down through the generations. Erin has been a thief since the age of seven. Erin's mother was the one with monster heritage, and their father fled when he realized his wife and child's true identity. However, he never revealed their heritage to the Grimms. This became irrelevant three years ago when a single monster was tortured by three Grimms until she revealed the locations of several other monsters including Erin and their mother. Their mother was killed, but Erin managed to escape in the form of a starling. For the next six months, they sought vengeance against the Grimms that had killed their family. They tracked down the three Grimms that had killed their mother and attacked in the form of a panther, killing one of the Grimms. The Grimms retaliated and Erin was forced to flee. They gave up on revenge after the other two Grimms were arrested by average human police for several counts of murder. The police had no idea about the motives involved in the murders. Erin still has several long scars from knives and swords the Grimms used, as well as a scar from a bullet to the shoulder. This experience made Erin more careful. They have been forced to flee when Grimms discovered their location more than once, but they have been able to escape with little trouble.

Other: Deep down, Erin is rather nerdy, enjoying Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Doctor Who. Secretly, they even enjoy the occasional romance novel. Has a deep and shameless affection for cats.
