Skills and Affinities: Miruki is an incredibly cunning character with the sleight of hand. He's not the strongest, nor the fastest, but he likes to exploit any environment, resource, even his enemy's own advantages/disadvantages. He can make use of pretty much anything in any situation, and absolutely will.

Weapons and/or Equipment: Miruki always carries at least three things; a flintlock pistol, a misericorde, and his lucky deck of cards.

Appearance: Miruki is average height, 5'11, with a build on the smaller side. As an Aubade, he has very pale ashen skin, and long pointed ears. He has forest-green eyes, and black square-framed spectacles. He has fluffy midnight-black hair that falls above his shoulders, the back tied in a short tail, and along the front, a noticeable cowlick makes a piece stick up. A series of nature-themed tattoos line his right arm, with some decorative chain patterns forming bands along the other arm.

He tends to wear a black fur-accented trench coat, with a dark orange shirt. He also wears black pants and worn-down boots.

Personality: Miruki is a sly trickster, but also charismatic, charming others with his wild manner of speech and cheeky attitude. He's the kind of guy that will invite you to a round of cards, then swipe the most valued treasure on your person. He views most friendships and allyships as transactional, but with the eye of a gambler, it's hard to resist taking a chance—especially when there's a high reward on the line.

Scratching past the surface layers, however, Miruki is a loyal and caring friend to have, the kind to tell you the truth for your own good, even if it stings. In the presence of those he perceives as harmless, innocent, and/or endangered, he'll ease up on his wily nature and try to give them a hand.

Backstory: Miruki was born a lowly, illegitimate child to the infamous Seraphel family. An infamous family of predominately Aubades, known for having a hand in a lot of high crime and black markets, especially around Sybilius. He spent most of his early childhood in a shoddy harbor—an unaligned villa, run-down and swamped by crime (as most of them are). Later on, proving his skills and desperation to get out of the slum, he narrowly secured a place in one of the family manors. He vaguely had a hand in some of the lower rungs of their crime networks, ever trying to justify his so-called career. But when realizing just how deep these sick roots ran, he refused to stay.

Now, at 19, Miruki still has his own links to the underworld, particularly the harbors where Seraphel operations run hot. He can tap into those resources and secure information any time he likes—it's the main reason he is even aware of the tribes that exist beyond Sybilius, unlike most of its citizens. However, he lives incognito in a small town, Thistleton, not too far from either the Royal City or the border of Sybilius.
