Mirage

Return to The Headquarters

Creator: Omni
Roleplay: The Headquarters
Nickname:

Sit down. I'm Commander Furia, head of HQ. If you get this job, you'll take orders from me. Understood?

Your Response: Oh, a strong authority figure. Of course, Madame Commander Furia.

Hmm. Closer to the microphone. State your name for the record.

Your Name: My name is Amadeus Smithoson. Unless you're asking for my Serial Number, of course.

Okay. First mistake of this job. We don't use our actual names here. Give me an alias.

Your Alias: Spicy! Haven't needed a codename in awhile. How about Mirage?

Really? That's the best you can come up with? No, no, we're moving forward. What makes you qualified for this job?

Your Abilities: I'm a bit of a suitor to all of your needs. See, I can phase my face to digitally alter it to any human face that suits the scenario. I can base it off of someone after scanning their face for 30 seconds. Otherwise, I can an internaal algorithmic database I can pull from. For the rest of my body, I can change my skin tone but try not to, as it can overwhelm my processor after not too long. Additionally, I have chains built into my arms. They're extendable and have adjustable lengths and can interlock as well and I can freely control the vertebraes of them.
Strengths: For my camouflage, I can use this in sticky situations because it happens quite fast. To the human eye, it's indistinguishable to the real thing. For androids, it has a small refresh rate for the keen of eye. For my chains, as I said earlier, it's an adjustable metallic vertabraw that I can fully manipulate, down to each segment of the chain. That means I can use it like a whip, a lasso, or even a sword if needed.
Weaknesses: For my camouflage, it has a cooldown of at least ten minutes. Re4alistically, it should be closer to thirty minutes, but I can push it if needed. It takes a lot of processing power, aand an cause me to overheat. Additionally, while I can shift my facial features, hair, and skin to an extent, I cannot shift anything else. My frame is a stockier, masculine one, so unless the preferred body type matches my own, it will make it hard for me to blend in for long. If I don't have the clothes needed either, it will be difficult for me. Also, don't touch the hair. It's synthetic and can feel very off. Most people wou7ld assume it's a wig but it's not the same.
For my chains, thewy are easy to break off unless compact. And, although I can regenerate them, it does take a bit. I will break them off in danger. They're not the most durable by any means, and if someone comes at me, well, I'm not a fighter. My biggest asset are my looks, darling.

Hmm. Okay, so what are you planning on wearing to the battlefield? Nothing ridiculous. I'm not going to waste my resources on a flashy suit just for you to die on the first mission.

Your Appearance: I'll look however you need me to look. But, beyond that, like I said, I have a more masculine frame. Muscles, toned, basically how the ideal male human is supposed to look like. As for my face, it was modeled after severaal different interpretations of the golden ratio face. Without my digital overlay, my outside body is just gray. I was an exclusive I-EXO frame, built for the ultra elite, back when luxury models were not... officially allowed, so hiding my actual face was preferred. As for my attire, I'll wear whatever is needed for the job. I'm not one to complain about my outfit., I do just need to mwake sure most of my body is covered when in disguise. My synthetic cover can only do so much for so long.

We'll smooth out the details later. Good enough. Now to the nitty gritty. I need to know that you'll be compatible with the other members. I also need to know that you know yourself enough to reveal all aspects of your personality, even the not so good.

Your Personality: Well, I was created originally created to be an escort, if you catch my drift, darling. I'm quite persuasive, if I say so, and I do. Call me uptight, call me stuck up, call me anything... as long as you keep calling me.
Strengths: I'm extremely flexible to most ssituations, anbd I can worm my way out of tough talks. I'm a likeable guy, what can I say?
Weaknesses: If you'd don't like me, you won't like me. That is to say, there are certain people wiht a natural disdain to me, from the first impression. Call it the reputation of high class preceding me. Funnily enough, I don't need people to like me, just to keep their eyes on me. Also, I will dip out of annoying situations if they get too nasty, or not in my favor. When I can tell the tide of a room is not longer going in my favor and there's not much to do to stop it, I'll leave it. My uses are better served elsewhere.

We'll learn soon enough if what you said is the truth. Now. Tell me about your past. This is vital information, so try not to leave out details. Anything incriminating especially. I need to know if I have to do more paperwork to get you hired.

Your Age: Six
Your Gender & Pronouns: Male, he/him, but I'll be whatever I need to be when it gets to it
Your History: Well, goodness, you caught me spilling my backstory before you even adsked for it. Silly me. As I said, I'm a luxury android built under illegal means. My first owner didn't keep me for long before he kicked the bucket. My second owner gave me more freedom and the ability to craft my own personality. It was then that I realized just how unjust life was for most androids. Now, I'm not a selfless pertson by any means. The concept of helping all androiuds helps me, right? And this owner, he was a decent guy. But he perferred the status quo staying as it was. As all rich people do. So, with his blessing, I left to try and start anew. It was really only then that I dsciovered just how horrid the world was for mechas in general. I had to do something more, so I pulled some strings, used some old connections from back in the day, and eventually stumbled here.
Personal Secret: Oh darling, I have no secrets. I was built to be quite open.
Personal Wish: I wish the world was decent to my folks.

I really did not need to know your hopes and aspirations, but thank you for that knowledge. Before we leave, do you have any questions for us?

Other: Ready whenever you are.
