Return to The Headquarters

Creator: Ranger
Roleplay: The Headquarters
Nickname: Rebbeca "Beck" Malory

Sit down. I'm Commander Furia, head of HQ. If you get this job, you'll take orders from me. Understood?

Your Response: Lovely, straight to the point, that's what I like.

Hmm. Closer to the microphone. State your name for the record.

Your Name: Rebbeca Malory, Beck by most.

Okay. First mistake of this job. We don't use our actual names here. Give me an alias.

Your Alias: Beck wasn't good enough? Alright, fine. Guardian then.

Really? That's the best you can come up with? No, no, we're moving forward. What makes you qualified for this job?

Your Abilities: Well, I'm a great leader and a good shot, especially on the run. If things need to be done fast then I'll get them done faster. I've also got a bit of tech in my forearm that lets me manipulate the energy in it and make a shield or small handheld melee weapon. Handy in a pinch.
Strengths: That shield I was talking about? It can stop just about anything physical, bullets, a brick, a sword, doesn't matter. I bet my money it can stop it- well a bit more then my money- my life really.
Weaknesses: Only downside it's really got is it doesn't like other sorts of energy shot at it. Makes it start wavering like the surface of a pond in the wind and doesn't stop much when it's like that. Found that out the hard way.

Hmm. Okay, so what are you planning on wearing to the battlefield? Nothing ridiculous. I'm not going to waste my resources on a flashy suit just for you to die on the first mission.

Your Appearance: Something practical and easy to move in with pockets. Pair of cargo pants as long as they're not too baggy, black tank top, and maybe like a coat or vest will work fine. Just not uniform. Wouldn't want me to get identified if caught right? As for the specifics on black shirt, it doesn't get stained and brings out my blonde hair and green grey eyes.

We'll smooth out the details later. Good enough. Now to the nitty gritty. I need to know that you'll be compatible with the other members. I also need to know that you know yourself enough to reveal all aspects of your personality, even the not so good.

Your Personality: Well, like I said before, I'm a leader. That's what I do. I try to look at the brighter side of things but also accept what could happen and all of the possibilities.
Strengths: I don't leave anyone behind and make sure everyone comes out with me. Also, I'm not afraid to take a hit for the team as long as everyone makes it out okay. I like to hit the ground running and I'm great with coming up with a solution to a problem on the spot so I can get as much done as I can.
Weaknesses: With that, apparently I can be stubborn and disobedient but I go with what I feel is right and go with the best course of action as things come at me.

We'll learn soon enough if what you said is the truth. Now. Tell me about your past. This is vital information, so try not to leave out details. Anything incriminating especially. I need to know if I have to do more paperwork to get you hired.

Your Age: 25
Your Gender & Pronouns: Female, she/her
Your History: Worst thing I ever did was steal some candy bars with my sister when I was seven. My mom caught me and made me put mine back, my sister managed to get away without getting caught though. Other then that, I've got a clean slate. I was a good kid, joined the military once I was old enough, not entirely sure why. Guess I saw it as a challenge and being that kind of kid I couldn't turn the idea down. Served for just around six years-ish until I was sent into a battle I barely made it out of. My group and I were pinned down and it was only getting worse so no one could come rescue us as the enemy moved in faster then we all expected. Lost quite a few friends that day but I tried to get as many out alive as I could, escorting them to safe points for extraction with my shield. That was also the day I figured out the shield didn't like energy pulses. An energy pulse was used to try and take out incoming aircraft tech and messed with my shield as I was coming back to get another person and I got hit with quite a few things. Hence the one partially prostetic leg. I'm lucky I lived after that, apparently I was close enough to a safe point to be dragged out.
Personal Secret: From that day on, my sister won't talk to me, no matter how many times I try contacting her. I miss her, but I'm not sure if my first reaction would be to hug or scold her.
Personal Wish: Maybe one day I'd like to have a family who'll actually talk to me. I'm not sure how that'll work out with being off the records but I'd really love that.

I really did not need to know your hopes and aspirations, but thank you for that knowledge. Before we leave, do you have any questions for us?

Other: Oh plenty but I'm sure they'll all be classified to no.
