Appearance: Long brown hair and bangs that almost completely covers her eyes. She just gives off kind of a "im scared of the universe" vibe i guess. She usually wears this dark blue coat that her mom bought for her birthday, and is always seen holding a little mechanical dog that she calls Dragon. It's kinda her comfort object, like when shes super scared she'll talk to Dragon. oh and the mechanical dog isnt like a robot or anything, its more like a wind-up toy.
Personality: So shes just kind of scared kid. But more than anything, Layla also hopes that she can see what the world looked like before the Last Light. Shes read many stories detailing about blue skies and breathtaking sunsets, and now she hopes there might be a way to reverse the damage.

History after The Last Light: Layla was actually born after the Last Light began, so shes lived her entire life like that. Her dad left before she was even born, and her mom died while giving birth (Which led to Layla becoming an onlooker). Shes pretty much just a kid, but one thats lived an entire life of misery. Shes never seen the world before the Last Light, and has lived alone, sometimes not even under a roof.
Reason for volunteering: She already knew her dad lived in Peoria for a long time, but never really had a reason to go. When they needed volunteers to go to Peoria, it was more of a spur-of-the-moment thing.
