Riltar Kardom

Return to A Lost Tomb

Creator: Oxara
Roleplay: A Lost Tomb
Nickname: Riltar

Name: Teidrunth, the hunter, or his elf name, Riltar Kardom.
Age: 371.
Gender: Male.
Race: half-elf, half-dragon (though he hides the dragon part and often looks as though he's a full elf).

Role: Mage.

Appearance: At first glance, there is little you could tell about him, he looks like any other elf you might see around. That is until, of course, you look closer and notice his greatsword along his back as well as a cross bow along his arm, which seemed to conflict with what looked to be mage robes. His eyes are a lightish blue while his hair is dark blue. He is extremely tall for an elf, or any species really, nearly 6'9. His skin tone is paler than most. And there is just an intimidating aura around him. Even after seeing him fall flat on his face, that aura still doesn't leave him.

Personality: He has yet to trust anyone but his parents, or rather, anyone but the one person who betrayed him. Despite this, he tries to use his power to help people, and while he may not sleep the first day or even the second one after you met him, and while he may still keep his sword close at hand while he "sleeps" or rather like elves goes into a trance. Even still he is kind hearted and will protect those who he cares about, and is not afraid to use his powers to do so. And he has little regards for rules, regulations, customs that society have imposed and only follow his own, which normally he's able to stay out of trouble, but it is not un-common for peaple to think him rude for this neglect.
-Strengths: In terms of physical strength, he might be the strongest humanoid you will meet, and his magical strength is great, too. And as he continues to practice his magic, especially his ice magic, as it keeps becoming stronger and stronger.
- Weaknesses: He is uncomfortable with his transformed body. While fighting his sword is no problem, especially strength-wise, speed and actual movement in his elf-body is difficult, but not impossible. His magic spells are currently far too crude and unrefined, and a limited selection. Each spell is something he inherently knew in his bones, rather than taught, but he is still learning and improving on them.

Magic: Currently only basic ice spells, making things like a pure bolt of ice and sending it, reinforcing his skin with ice, giving his sword or bow some basic ice reinforcements. Maybe if he really spent all of his energy, he could cast an explosion of ice, at the cost of passing out and taking the time to recover the magic it took to cast it. while he can only cast ice magic now, he has the ability to learn any magic, though his ice will always be more powerful.

History: He spent his first 50 years of life with his parents, a dragon and an elf, and he thought it normal. After that, his father (the elf) was recalled back to army, and he left to protect and hide the existence of "Teidrunth". He left a massive bow nearly an entire building tall (8 or 9ft), which matched his size. He also tore trees down and practiced sword play with the trees, and even learned to craft entire wooden swords out of tree that fit his size.

For the next 250 years, he spent his time learning how to hunt and use his sword and trained with his mother, who fought with her claws. In the latter half of his second century he developed his magic, he only had a few years to practice it with his mother before things went wrong. People came to kill his mother, claiming that she was evil, a monster of inherit evil they needed to destroy. She was too powerful they barley stood a chance. She knew that if she stood with Teidrunth that he would be in danger and so she left, leaving him a child alone in the world.

He kept away form cities for a few decades before he learned how to transform himself into an elf, and after another 50 years, still a child, is learning of society and of their misguided ideas.

And now he's found Rurik's contract and decided to join him.

Up For Love: As he is teenager, I would say no. At least, he wouldn't seek it out, but if it does fall in his lap, he probably wouldn't even know how to react, but if it was the right person, then maybe.

Other: He carries a large greatsword with him that seems a little too big for him to wield, but somehow he manages.

Now I realize that there is no righteous path, it’s just people trying to do their best in a world where it is far too easy to do your worst.
