Charlotte Hart

Return to Transcendent

Creator: Mageheart
Roleplay: Transcendent
Nickname: Lottie

Name: Charlotte "Lottie" Hart

Ghost or Living: Ghost

Age: She appears to be fifteen. She's actually twenty.

Gender: She uses she/her pronouns, and is a cisgender girl.

Appearance: Her long, auburn hair is relatively straight and goes down to her chest. She's recently started throwing it into a ponytail. No matter what her hair looks like, she almost always has her red baseball cap on. It has her high school's name on it, but the letters are faded.

She died wearing an oversized gray hoodie, jeans and the sneakers she had owned since she had since she was a freshman. She doesn't have a visible death wound.

Personality: Prior to her death, she was shy and withdrawn. Her lack of lasting friendships - especially when she entered her town's middle school - meant that she never understood how to make a good one. She was also incredibly cautious about doing anything remotely different or "bad".

This can be seen occasionally, but she's the loudest in the friend group. She's known for being the one to new "haunted" place to go, as well as the one who comes up with some of their most creative pranks. She might hesitate for a bit, but she's usually the one who takes the most risks.

Up for Romance: She is! She's lesbian and asexual.

Backstory: Charlotte was the only child of Mary and Thomas Hart. She was known for being exceptionally bright and dedicated to her studies. Mary and Thomas encouraged to follow her passions as she developed them. When she came out to them in seventh grade, they eagerly accepted her.

But she never had that same loving connection with her peers. What started as being ignored eventually evolved into full-scale bullying when Charlotte was outed as a lesbian by one of the girls in her homeroom freshman year. She had been struggling for the entirety of her middle school year, and this was the final stroke. On the one year anniversary of the day she had been outed, she took her own life by overdosing on prescription medicine.

When she first became a ghost, Charlotte would watch her family mourn for her. She spent nearly a year walking aimlessly around her house and the remnants of her old life. When her parents moved to another town later that year, she decided it was time to make a new life out of herself.

She took up the nickname "Lottie" and promised herself that she would use her second chance to finally make friends. Four years later, she's traveling the country with the best friends she's ever had.

Other: One of her regrets is that she never was able to go to a pride parade when she was alive. Even if she went now, no one would be able to see her.

My spelling is wobbly. It's good spelling, but it wobbles, and the letters get in the wrong places.
