Return to Shattered Moons

Creator: Lael
Roleplay: Shattered Moons
Nickname: Night

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Symbol: Crescent moon

Race: Human

Theme: Black, silver, and ice blue.

Appearance: Night has silver hair and ice blue eyes. His skin is a ghostly pale tone, which gives him an eerie look. He stands at about 5'10". His default expression is that of either contempt or irritation. He wears a black hooded cloak, black outfit, and simple armguards equipped with extra knives. His outfit consists of a sleeveless shirt, a simple, dark belt, and somewhat baggy pants tucked into black boots. His cloak and shirt are lined with silver. Even more knives are strapped to his outfit as well.

Weapon: Night wields Eclipse, a contraption of his making that utilizes knives in a multitude of ways. First, he can throw multiple small daggers with cords. With a button, he can easily retract them. The main reason for these knives are utility and movement. With this, he can easily close the gap between himself and the enemy, or scale walls. When in close quarters with enemies, Night has two longer daggers, named Wishblade, hidden in his armguards. These weapons are deadly precise and are made with a mixture of silver and blue Dust, creating a sheen that always shimmers like ice in lights. His cuts with these daggers cause immense pain and creates frost in the wounds of his enemies. The knives he carries with him are always shining and carefully polished, while the hilts are wrapped in intricate black cloth for grip.

Semblance: Night's Semblance is Light Distortion. If Night concentrates enough and stands still, he can warp his aura around him to match the colors around him. It doesn't work on him himself, just the area around him. So, if someone is looking for him, they can and probably will find him.

Personality: Night is a closed off person, preferring not to share details of his past or problems and deepest feelings. He is highly sarcastic and a little malicious, feeling satisfaction at other's detriment or misfortune, especially if it is at his own hands. Thus, he is not exactly a team player, though he knows he has to work with others. He likes working solo and fighting to be the best. Most of what makes up his character is the desire to protect himself. However, because of his past, Night is a softie for others who are downtrodden and suffered as he did before and are unable to protect themselves.

History: The stark contrast between the two parts of Night's childhood are, first, a happy, laughter-filled life with his non-Huntsmen family in a peaceful rural village and, second, the death of his family and his entire village by Grimm with him as the only survivor, and the years after that, in which he lived alone in a big city, without a home and stealing to survive, often the victim of others who would take advantage of him or hurt him. He became a hard, reclusive person with only a will to live. He vowed to become stronger so he could defend himself.

Up for love: Eh... we'll see.

Words are pale shadows of forgotten names. As names have power, words have power. Words can light fires in the minds of men. Words can wring tears from the hardest hearts.
