Pango Lyn
Return to Defenders of the Dust City
Creator: TinkerTwaggy
Roleplay: Defenders of the Dust City
Nickname: Tiny Tyrant
Name: Pango Lyn
Age: ???
Character Type: Dreamfolk
Powers (If any):
♦ExÄrm → Pango Lyn has the ability to summon two giant, disembodied arms - one helps him in close combat, the other, to throw projectiles.
♦Madder Cloth → a straight jacket that Pango Lyn wears like a cape: when he puts it on to lock his arms, it allows him to enter his Madder State: better mental focus, full power of his ExÄrms, but faster stamina drain.
♦Flutter Sharpies → clawed boots he uses to stick his feet on any surface, as well as performing his "Air Grip" technique, which blesses him with amazing air mobility.
Skills (If any): Pango Lyn is surprisingly analytic, as he tends to see everything and everyone as a patterns and knots to figure out and conquer. He hides that talent behind his other one: being decently over-dramatic, something he uses to distract people around him.
Appearance: Pango Lyn looks like a strange, tiny dinosaur with dark blue skin (which turns cyan when locked in his Madder State), and a natural, blue helmet-like structure on top of his head, which he likes to refer to as "crown". His small tail can expand to normally impossible reaches for about one to two seconds. With his fierce green eyes, eternal, sharp-toothed grin and clawed boots, Pango Lyn looks to be combat ready at all times.
Although, the constant sudden movements of his stubby arms and the straight jacket he uses as a cape would convince some that he is insane.
Personality: Pango Lyn is a strange mix of absolutely polite and respectful with happily familiar, seldomly bumping his crown against others to show his affection. Aside that - and his tendency to over-dramatize some of his actions - Pango Lyn hides two, massive desires that eat away his regular persona whenever they appear.
-First of all, he wants to know who he is, and who made him. He prides himself in his traveling habits, but would like to know his own story.
-Second, he hungers for conflicts of all types, battles especially. He becomes a cruel beast when locked in one while keeping his nice dispositions, thus creating a frightning contrast between ruthless actions and soft-spoken words. That trait got him the title of "Tiny Tyrant", and those who don't know him either demonize or underestimate him.
History: Pango Lyn woke up one day, standing on top of a bright, pyramid-like structure. He had to battle his way down to tne ground level, where he was greeted with two statues, whom he called Andor and Tleia. People eventually came to his pyramid, mistreating him for a its monstrous guardian. From what he understood, the people coming to his lair expected things to go their way, but he somehow had the power to deny that possibility. Intrigued by these people of the outside world and their own rules, Pango Lyn set out to modify that lair he had gained control over. With the help of Andor and Tleia - who were actually living statues, as he came to realize one particularly frightning morning - he rebuilt the pyramid into "The Dreadmill", a strange, moving structure that helped him explore the world.
And so began Pango Lyn's wanders around a world unknown.
Other: From time to time, Pango Lyn will sit down and start linking random quotes together, unable to understand where they come from. If not snapped out of that, he could go on talking nonsense for a full day. Only Andor and Tleia seem to be able to talk with him in that case.
