Appearance: Anya has a warm caramel colored skin tone with dark brown and wildly curly hair. Her body type could be described as more sporty with her wide shoulders and thicker waist. She has a loosely defined hourglass figure with bigger legs and tinier arms. Her style transitions from elegant to very comfortable and active to fit in with her dance schedule.
Personality: Anya is very down to earth and humble. She opens up to people easily and for the most part is very proud of who she is as a person. She considers herself an underdog, and she looks for friends similar to her in that sense. She is a supporter in the LGBTQ community, and she often will speak to groups about her situation.
Apart from her exterior personality, Anya struggles a lot with bullies and hate comments from those who do not support her lifestyle. All this hate discourages her a lot and leads her to have anxiety attacks occasionally. For the most part, though, she has a strong support system and a strong sense of self-appreciation to even out the hate.
Her biggest struggle is her sense of identity and dealing with the reality of who she was born as and who she truly is. She feels as though people only see her as a transgender figurine instead of as a real person, and her main goal is to be known for her dancing and not her backstory.
Personal History (previous scandals, etc.): At birth Anya was originally named Sam Calloway and was legally born a male. When Anya was 7 she was diagnosed with gender identity disorder after showing increased signs of being and feeling like a girl living inside a boys body. With her families support, she began her transition from one sex to another. At 11 she began administering cross-sex hormones, and at 15 she had her first surgical treatment. For the past year, Anya has been traveling across Europe with her mother to take a new step in her dance career. She will finally be returning to St. Jude's after her year away.
Anya is a somewhat professional dancer who specializes in contemporary jazz, lyrical, and ballet dance. She is extremely talented, but a lot of her fame as a dancer ends up coming from her backstory and not from the hard work she puts into her dancing.
Parental History (who are their parents, how did they make their money?): Anya's mother is the only parental figure in her life. Her father divorced her mother after Anya turned 4, and his only involvement in her life is for selfish reasons.
Anya's mother is a retired actress who is now well known for her famous interior design company. She provides a lot of money for their family and works very hard. Anya's mother is her best friend and her biggest supporter.
Anything Else?: Anya is out to the people at St. Jude's but she is nowhere near completely accepted by her fellow classmates. No one can tell by looking at her that she is transgender and she isn't so famous that people would recognize her just by looking at her unless they were familiar with the community.
