Cora is about 5'4", with a wavy tangle of fiery red hair, which is about down to her chin. She usually wears her hair down. She has light freckles on her nose and large, grey eyes. Cora has thin lips, and a round face. She is slim and athletic, as a result of years of training. Cora wears the typical robes of a padawan learner, and she is especially fond of wearing her cloak. She does have a padawan braid, which contains a single grey bead, a homage to her homeworld of Courscant. On her feet, she wears simple, brown boots.
Personality:
Cora was chosen extremely late to become a padawan learner, and as a result, she has a slight inferiority complex. She strives to prove herself, but sometimes doubts that she was ever meant to be a Jedi. She has a lingering fear of being abandoned by the Order.
Despite this, Cora is smart, and a creative problem solver. She takes some prompting to voice her opinions, but her peers find that her opinions are extremely valuable to the conversation, often providing previously unconsidered insights.
Cora keeps a journal of her training and travels, which she enjoys to log in during any off time she can find. She is an avid reader of galactic history.
Unlike her master, Cora does not always follow orders without question, which keeps her elders on their feet.
Due to extra training Cora did when she was waiting to be picked, Cora is a sharp fighter, and she is able to hold her own in battle. She feels comfortable in battle chaos, and is less comfortable if a confrontation is more slow and drawn out.
Flaws/Weaknesses: Cora has a lingering, leftover fear of being dropped from the Order, a result of her late start as a padawan learner. During that time, she was afraid that she may never be taken on as an apprentice. Until she fully let's go, this fear holds her back from reaching her full potential as a Jedi.
Power/s: Cora has occasional (and extremely rare) visions, but they're essentially useless without the right interpretation. She gets extremely unnerved whenever she has one, and tries to ignore them. She has the skills of any other typical padawan learner.
History: Cora was born on Courscant. Her mother abandoned her at an orphanage when she was a few weeks old, and so she lived the first year of her life at an orphanage. Cora does not remember her life at the orphanage. She was later discovered by a Jedi master, who sensed her presence when visiting the orphanage. He brought Cora to the temple to train as a Jedi.
At the temple, Cora was a slow learner, often behind most of her classmates. While she had exceptional raw force abilities, she had a hard time putting them to use. Cora became extremely frustrated, and many Jedi were hesitant to take her on as a padawan learner, due to her anger and fears. As her classmates were getting chosen, Cora spent hours and hours of extra work trying to get herself up to par. One source of inspiration for her came from the Jedi archives, where she read about the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi, who was also chosen at a very late age. Cora read though a large part of the archives, and she became quite knowledgeable about the galaxy and it's multitudes of inhabitants.
When she was thirteen, Cora became the apprentice learner of Jedi Kelsier Valen, and she has been training with him for nearly two years. Her time so far as a padawan as helped her grow more confident in her abilities, and more assertive as well. Her fears are less apparent, and she navigates the galaxy with a quiet confidence that often throws off her opponents.
