I've always liked writing. When I was younger, I tried writing fiction and short stories but those ideas never really went anywhere. However, I think that my writing has improved over the years and that my stories have a bit more direction these days. I'm good at coming up with poetic bullshit to make my writing sound flowery and pretty but I feel as though I struggle capturing grit, despite my efforts. I like writing Haikus but writing other kinds of poetry is fun too. I write a lot of nonfiction lately, mostly as a venting device but it's good practice and helps me with articulating ideas. I'm not a strong playwright but I hope that one day I'll be able to write amazing plays. My favorite authors include: Carson McCullers, Doc Luben, William Shakespear, and Oscar Wilde.
