This story is about a boy named Oliver who awakens to utter chaos, with no recollection of where he is or how he got there. He soon discovers that he is further away from home than he could have ever imagined, in a place known as Eparchìa. With no prospect of returning home, Oliver, along with eight other boys of similar backgrounds, are made to participate in a series of trials in order to avoid the terrible ramifications. The result of each trial contributes into forming characteristics for the each participant's next life. However, once completing the trials, Oliver realises that he is somewhat of an exception.
