He kissed the other. "Here we are, kissing in the water..." Patton gently smiled.

"I never thought I'd have a human fall in love with me...."

Patton kept Remus' head above water. "Now we're closer!"

He pulled Remus into the water with him. "Much better!" He giggled at the wet, moustached man in front of him.

"Do you know how to swim?"

the merman smiled softly. "I wish I could come on land..."

Patton gently leaned his head on Remus.

"Yeah, Janus had a bad experience with a human relationship before, so I'm glad he's open to this... Yeah i kinda had to force him back up here, but still!"

"See? Not so bad!" Patton held Remus' hand gently.

([insert singing clams here]) Patton sighed, taking Janus by the wrist and swimming back up with him to the rock.

"Please, Janus... I'll be there with you the whole time!"
