A Mans' Aimless Trek

A stream of conscious piece inspired by the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.

A boy walks up a hill not knowing where his steps will take him or why he was taking the steps in the first place. He continues walking aimlessly upward lead on by strangers who seem to know him yet he does not. The boy experiences the cruelty and beauty of nature as he continues his trek, experiencing the pain of loss and the joy of love as he walks onward to freedom.
