I gained an interest in reading and writing at the age of 12, but started being serious about them at 16. English isn't my first language, so I do struggle in expressing my thoughts. I tend to write short stories in a range of genres, and hope to write a novel one day.

Poetry is my cheap means of transportation. By the end of the poem the reader should be in a different place from where he started. I would like him to be slightly disoriented at the end, like I drove him outside of town at night and dropped him off in a cornfield.
