Candy (2024)
Donna Haley is an autistic fifteen year old girl who moved into her aunt's house to get away from the misery and chaos brought on from her alcoholic mother's marriage. She begins attending a support group for unhappy teenagers and meets "Groupie," a fascinating young girl whose circumstances are arguably worse, and the two girls from a sisterhood colored by the relentless pursuit of escapism.
