Nahi looked up to see who had tripped them and wanted to die immediately. "Bosch."

Nahi froze. Did... did Shara just... pick them up in a bridal carry? Huh? What? When? Who?

Suddenly Nahi pitched forward, the ground rushing up to meet them. They cringed, bracing for impact.

"Plenty of us in London. Most of us are in Africa, though. Scattered underground. Never been to a real Underground, just the British bullshit."

Nahi froze. "Oh. Um. Oh. Dear. Okay." They felt like they were melting. "Cool. Cool cool cool. Mhm. Okay."

Nahi made a small flustered noise. "I'd... rather not risk anyone recognizing me."

“And we’re back to the creator questions.” Cyra rolled their eyes. “You see, when a mommy subterra and a daddy subterra love each other very much-“

Nahi shrugged. “No need. Now, go and see who your roommate is. Once you can shoulder your way through the mob.”

Nahi sighed. “Okay…” They flipped up their hood and walked alongside Shara.

Nahi stood back, not sure if it would be worse to have someone else be their roommate and risk having a tormentor, or drag this poor girl’s social status to ...

Nahi followed along, trying their best to follow Shara’s ruthless strides.

Nahi gestured for Shara to lead the way.

Nahi shrugged. “Okay.”

Nahi sighed. “Well, you can check your roommate over there. So… I guess you’ll find out.”

Nahi felt a little giddy at that. “Well, regardless. No matter what you believe being around me is going to get you in trouble.”
