I live in Northern California with my parents, four younger siblings and a hundred {or nearly so} pets which include dogs, cats, chickens, two ducks, four geese, some pigeons, some guinea fowl and gold fish. My siblings and I are homeschooled {having ten acres makes this easy} and I just started my junior year in high school; some of the things we enjoy doing as a family are making up stories, critiquing movies, gardening and scaring people with retellings of what we did last week. I've no idea why it freaks people out but it does. :) I started writing when I was thirteen and have been doing it ever since; I've written a novel, several short stories, some poems {that's not my strong point, I just do it for fun}, have half a dozen unfinished stories and poems hanging around and am writing my second novel. I tend to view writing as a form of peaceful warfare as I'm a Christian going up against a world of nonchristians.
