i love music. it means the world to me and without it i would have commited suicide a long time ago.
i do not have what it takes to be a composer and that is why i am a poet because i can still express myself even if i cant put music to it.
i dont let anyone try to tell me who i should and shouldnt be.
nobody should even try.
My inspiration to start writing poetry was from the poet Philip Larkin who i would love to be able to write like. His poetry reaches out to me and makes me feel like i have a better understanding of the world. My Favourite quote by Larkin is "And sense the solving emptiness that lies just under all we do" From the poem "ambulances". i also enjoy the works of poets like norman mccaig and carol ann duffy. i am a very passionate person who will stand up for what i believe and will let nobody get in my way.
