Ian I hand Kyle to Lucian and take a few steps towards Ella, watching to see what's happening.

Ian Lucian comes up to me and sets a hand on my shoulder awkwardly, not sure what to do.

Ian I swallow and blink back emotion, burying Kyle's face in my neck.

Ian I don't let go of her when she pulls back, stroking my thumb against her cheek. "Come back for me," I whisper, "We need you."

Ian Kyle lets us, hanging onto me, and I keep a hand on the side of Ella's face, squeezing my eyes shut.
