Jace I study her, nodding, and lose my amused mood when I look over her marks again.

Lucian I nod and sigh, "Wanna talk about what you're thinking of?"

Jace "I like George Clooney," I say. "Guess again, though, Rayah."

Lucian I bite my lip, "You okay, Hales? You're not usually so quiet."

Jace I playfully glare at her, "Is that your final answer?"

Lucian I kiss her nose before relaxing.

Jace "Who's birthday is it, Ray?" I remind her.
