Lucian I hesitate before letting her go gently and standing, shaking my head and walking away.

Jace I chuckle and just shake my head, sighing, "You're a riot, Ray."

Elijah Her arms keep around my neck and my arms keep around her waist, holding her.

Lucian "No, Halee," I say sternly. "You're not fine . Stop lying to me. Just listen. I-I need you."

Jace I smile and let her, tightening my arms around her.

Lucian I swallow and bring her face to my neck, "Please don't be stubborn. Not after this."

Jace I flash a smile, "Any deeper and you'd be a part of me, Rayah."

Lucian "Halee?" I worry, holding her close. "H-Halee, wake up."

Jace I smile and tighten my grip, "Better?"

Jace "Rest up, Ray," I whisper. "I'll be right here."

Elijah I smile back and lean the rest of the way in, closing my eyes as I kiss her.

Lucian They person disappears and I freeze, my skin prickling and the whisper screaming at me to run again.
