Lucian I look at her, "And that justifies you leaving? That's what I'm supposed to tell our son?"

Jace I smile and raise an eyebrow as well.

Lucian I send her an incredulous look, "Y-you didn't like who you were? Y-you had a family, Halee. Y-you..." I swallow and shake my head, looking away from her.

Jace I smile and shake my head at her, studying her.

Lucian She actually touches me and I find myself tearing up again, "Y-you left me."

Jace I smile and follow her down, looking her in the eyes.

Lucian I open my eyes and find her beside me. Not saying anything, I just study her image, sure it's not real.

Eljiah I nod and slowly make my way into the bathroom, showering quickly and getting dressed.
