Ryder I kiss her jaw before relaxing and keeping my face in her neck, trying not to worry so much.

Grayson I shake my head back and keep the two behind me, "No one is touching my daughter, taking her, or doing anything else. She stays where she belongs."

Ryder I flash a smile and do the same back to her.

Grayson I shake my head, "No, we already have a problem. Getting you to leave."

I know. It was one of the most frustrating thirty minutes of my life. o.O

Ryder I close my eyes again and sigh.

Grayson I jump up and throw the guy away from the two, standing protectively in front of my family.

Okay. Same with me.

Ryder I bury my face in her neck, hoping to warm her up.

Grayson I tense and keep them in my arms, glancing back.

Ryder I wrap the jacket around her and move as close as I can, giving her my warmth.

Grayson I keep a hand on the side of my daughter's face, "I won't either."

Lol. Yeah...

Ryder I hold her closer when she coughs, opening my eyes and watching her as if she'll fall apart.
