Will I glance back at the window and hesitate before standing, "Let's go. We're not safe here."

Chance "Me too," I smile, kissing her cheek.

Chance I smile back and watch her, keeping an arm around her.

Will I look at Isa, "Would your family have left into town by now?"

Will I sit up and look out the window, confused. No. They can't be here yet.

Will I study her, "You okay?"

Chance I keep my arm around her and my hand on the side of her face, smiling at her.

Will I sense her tense and wake, glancing up at her.

Chance I smile and kiss her quickly, closing my eyes.

Will I move a hand to my bad arm, taking a deep breath in my sleep.

Will I stir in my sleep but don't wake, sighing.

Will I slowly fall asleep again.

Will I smile lightly when she starts stroking my hair back, sighing.
