Jace watches him walk to the window before looking at Rayah. "How is that possible?"

"What happened?" Jace asks Cupid, taking Rayah in his arms. He whispers in her ear, "Your father'll kill me if you leave my sight, Ray."

Jace takes Rayah's other side, watching for her brother's response.

Jace walks back in, hearing his name, and takes Rayah's hand, waiting for her to get closer.
