Sadie nodded and buried her hands in her pockets and followed silently, for once.

She furrowed her brow at him. “Such as?”

“I thought everything was on a schedule,” Sadie said dryly. “You don’t know how long it’ll take?”

Sadie glanced at Alex, then walked through the door first.

“Alright.” Sadie shrugged and finished off her coffee then set her mug down.

“So where’s Duncan now?”

“You don’t?” Sadie furrowed her brow. “She’s like, constantly breathing down our necks.”

“… right after she ‘graduated’ or whatever?”

“That’s insane,” Sadie muttered. “…I can’t imagine Meyer managing more than like… two. Maaaaaybe.”
