Aeron nodded and set to untacking his mount, being liberal with the pats of affection as he did so. “Alright, be good, precious. We’ll be back in a bit.”

He pulled a few charmed items out of his saddle bags and slipped them into his pocket then headed for the cottage again.

Aeron nodded and bent and slipped on his boots, then strode outside and began getting his staff from where he’d had it strapped behind Aenyra’s saddle.

“…Probably wouldn’t hurt,” Aeron agreed with a nod, standing up. “I’ll go get my staff.”

“Okay.” He nodded, stretching.

“Can we not just decapitate it?”

“…I’m open to suggestions,” he said gruffly, not wanting to admit he was as out of practice on offensive spells as he was the rest of the charms.
