(That’s really cute. The forbidden soft belly rubs) “…want to play a card game or board game or something?” Ky suggested.

(Hah dangerous game my friend) “No idea,” Ky admitted after a moment. “The games were a good idea, though.” She smiled a little.

“…oh.” Talia blushed even more and nodded. Was he insane, then? You weren’t supposed to provoke the noble. That always ended badly. Always.

Talia’s and Ky’s eyes both went wide at the thought of playing with the lordship himself and they blushed a little, glancing away. They couldn’t really imagine him having fun. ...

“That was fun.” Talia settled back onto the sofa with a contented smile.

“No doubt.” Talia nodded in agreement. “You’re good at that game — we almost ran out of questions!”

Ky grinned as well. “That’s a good one! I never would have gotten that without the hint. Good game!”

“Oh! A mirror?” Ky asked.

“…I’m honestly out of ideas,” Rifkin said after a moment. The girls nodded in agreement. “I’m stumped,” Ky agreed. “Can you give us a hint?”

“… oh… duh…” Rifkin blushed a little. “Guess stone was never alive… wood?”

“… fire place?” Rifkin ventured.

“Dresser?” Talia asked.

(Okay that’s what I was thinking as well) “Like… non-rich people,” he said, not sure how to define ordinary. “Would I possibly have one? Or one of the girls’ da’s?”
