She let out a little sigh and started for the Keep, relieved that her cover hadn’t been blown while also feeling guilty for not telling the truth.

“Yessir.” She dipped her head, subconsciously holding her breath as she turned away. Had she really just gotten away with it? Had no one noticed her absence? Good.

She shrank a bit and nodded. “Sorry… I won’t do it again.” She had no doubt Rönn would make another attempt impossible now.
