Ky nodded again. “It’ll help to be home with… Mother and my siblings.”

Ky nodded glumly, wiping at her nose. “I think we all are at this point… but especially him, yes. I hope he gets better soon.”

“Okay.” Ky shrugged, too. “He’s still not really talking or eating much, but seems to be doing a little better now that we’re heading home.”

Ky nodded and plopped down next to the fire, shivering slightly. “I imagine Tomhas can start giving you a deer once we get back home. Which will hopefully help.”

She nodded, deciding that was a gesture of good will, and shuffled a little closer to the fire. “It is… nasty night.”
