I never really had a good childhood when I lived in Alabama. I grew up with asthma, ADHD, and constantly having to go to the hospital because of those two things. It wasn't until I moved to California during elementary school. The first day of class we had to right a story about our summer break. My teacher loved the way I wrote my story so much that she would have my write everything that would come to my mind in a journal. She convinced the librarian to let me pick out one book that I could keep and read over the summer. When I went to pick the first book I wanted to read was James Patterson's Maximum Ride series The Angel Experiment. Ever since then, I loved to get more books and further my own writing as best as I could.
