my name is arthur, i actually made this profile when i was 15 and haven't really touched it since but i'm really hoping to get back into the swing of writing! most of my work nowadays are personal pieces about my experiences with mental illness & the occasional short story, but i am working on an actual book(?)



The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading.
