About Luxor

I was born in Athens, Georgia, and I stil live there today. I'm forteen years old, I live out in the country. It's flat and boring as hell, but I think that's what attributed to my development as a reader and a writer. I know some of you "cityslickers" from California and New York may have some misconceptions about us southerers, but believe me, there are actually some pretty inteligent people amidst the hillbillys and rednecks. :-)

Now, I can't talk about my writing without bringing up the man who got me into it: Darren Shan. From the day I found his books four years ago in September at my school's library, I knew that whatever else I did with my life, my true path was to be a writer. I started out writing fanfiction centered around his books, but gradually my own characters developed, and the resemblance to Darren Shan's plotlines discintigrated until I had a story that I could call my own.

Interests

Reading, writing, daydreaming, melting wax to create interesting shapes, music (only certain kinds though)

Occupation

Writer. It had to be asked, didn't it? :)

"The trouble with Borrowing another mind was, you always felt out of place when you got back to your own body, and Granny was the first person ever to read the mind of a building. Now she was feeling big and gritty and full of passages. 'Are you all right?' Granny nodded, and opened her windows. She extended her east and west wings and tried to concentrate on the tiny cup held in her pillars."
