Hello, everyone!
Just a little information about myself!
My name is Leya (or Ley) and I'm a Junior Moderator here on YWS. I've been on YWS for over 12 years (on another account) and love this site with everything in me!
I am a current Medical Student! I specialize in Obstetrics and Medical Coding, although I'd like to get into Hospital Administration! I currently work as a surgical assistant in the obstetrics wing at one of the largest hospitals in the country. I've been working in Healthcare for about three years!
I'm also in school to finish my Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Medical Coding!
As for the writing aspect of my life, I've won many literary competitions such as scholastic and many offered through my college. I've been writing since I was born, always creating little stories and making my own books out of them. At first, I was actually interested in English and was going to pursue that degree, but I also have a love for helping others in the Medical Field.
My writing specialties are: Fantasy, Romance, Greek Mythology and Epic Adventure!
