Lance Jonio, a senior at Warren High School, was born April 2nd, 1996. He was born in Texarkana, Texas and was raised by his mother, grandmother, and aunt. He has a half-brother, Justus Jonio, and an older step sister, Ashley Jonio. Lance always felt closer to his mother and grandmother all throughout his life.
By the age of three, Lance had never spoken. However, with a pencil in his hand, he sketched drawings of things he wanted in that moment. His mother was so proud, unlike his teachers.
When Lance was six, he barely spoke to anyone. Instead, Lance doodled in class until the bell had rung. For this behavior, he was placed in special classes for his 'disability' and was deprived from his drawing utensils. At home, his step father had also taken away his drawing privileges.
Growing up in the Methodist church had led Lance to become a christian. Believing that he should respect and love everyone equally, he has always treated people with caring affection and a friendly disposition.
When Lance turned twelve, his family stopped going to church and he lost sight of God in his life. His friends encouraged him afterward to go to their individual churches, and he agreed.
Lance became a non-denominational christian and believes that God loves everyone equally, no matter what they have done or do.
Lance believes that someone could fall in love with the opposite or same sex. He believes that Love is not restricted by gender.
Lance has always enjoyed sketching, drawing, painting, writing, photography, and scripting. He has been uniquely creative his whole life. Here recently though, he has spent countless nights suffering from creativity block.
He is in the top 30 of his class in School and is honored to be a Junior Rotarian of his school.
He has always dreamed of being a model, however, his physical appearance is not appealing. He is quite disgusted by his image that he portrays.
"Youth is nothing to waste in this age of time. it is to be captured and used for the good of others."
Lance enjoys many things, but his love for plants and animals have conquered over his achievements as a child. His mother had always labeled him as the 'Green Thumb' of the family. Though he loved animals, it was always difficult to keep one he grew attached to.
when he was eight, his first pet was a pit bull named Buster. Buster was his best friend and he always protected Lance. The times where Buster would sit inside the fence while all the other dogs ran free sickened Lance and so he let Buster out. Unlike the other dogs though, Buster ran into the road and passed away by a car accident. Lance cried throughout that week.
On a brighter note, Lance is a hopeless romantic. he loves the ideas of romantic dates, movies, love stories, and fairy tale endings. his eyes become blinded from reality when he falls in love.
he believes in True love and love at first sight. The first moments you are with a person and the feelings toward them should determine the relationship you want with that person.
Lance is very down to earth and friendly. He never turns his back on anyone that needs help. However, under circumstances that you have wronged him in any way and it is too great to forgive, he may not be too friendly. But other than that, he loves having friends.
