I prefer to draw my settings and characters after establishing their likes/dislikes... it helps to give me an idea of what they are like and the type of family they may come from. (plus I can make a cover for my stories)
I am a complete SciFi addict. I love Stargate and Staragte Atlantis, plus Battlestar Galactica (can't stand Star Trek or Star Wars though)
