About Imaginary_Poet

I am a teenage writer just trying to do everything I can to not write stuff. When I actually manage to get myself to write something, I typically focus on epic fantasy, historical fiction (WWII mainly), and poetry. I love interacting with other writers and reading what they have to say about the world, and I love that YWS is a place I can post my work without being too self-conscious about comments and edits!

Also, another thing about my writing is that (other than poetry) every story I write has at least one LGBTQ+ character bc as an ace lesbian, I wish I saw more characters like myself when I'm reading and I hope to help put more of that out into the world someday!

(Pronouns normally she/her but I don't really care whatever you use!)

It had a perfectly round door like a porthole, painted green, with a shiny yellow brass knob in the exact middle. The door opened on to a tube-shaped hall like a tunnel: a very comfortable tunnel without smoke, with panelled walls, and floors tiled and carpeted, provided with polished chairs, and lots and lots of pegs for hats and coats—the hobbit was fond of visitors. The tunnel wound on and on, going fairly but not quite straight into the side of the hill —The Hill, as all the people for many miles round called it—and many little round doors opened out of it, first on one side and then on another.
